4-Inch TWW Double Square | Founder's Edition

My 4” double square is the tool I reach for more than any other in the shop. It’s always in my apron, used for everything from joinery layout to machine setup. Designing my own square, built to my exact specifications by Tony Rouleau of Hillview Wood & Metal, was a dream project, and a chance to create a tool that blends high end refinement with industrial grade durability.

I'm proud to introduce this LIMITED RUN 'Founder's Edition' TWW Double Square

Proudly made in the USA, it features the TWW logo inlaid on both sides, carefully filled with durable powder coat for crisp contrast and long term wear. The wood inlay is crafted from Afzelia, an exotic hardwood prized for its stability, durability, and rich visual character. The warmth of the wood pairs beautifully with the cool precision of steel.

The ruler is made from chrome plated carbon steel, fully hardened and tempered to ensure exceptional durability and accuracy. Graduations are precisely etched, then black filled, delivering superior readability that holds up over years of use. This material choice provides outstanding wear resistance and long lasting, crisp graduations, even in demanding shop conditions.

A black steel locking knob completes the square, offering smooth, secure locking with a solid, confidence inspiring feel and a handsome finishing detail.

We only made TEN of these beauties and I'm not sure if we'll make any more. Each square is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The square is also shipped in an attractive box featuring the TWW Logo.
